Sidelines with Dr. Marshall

David L. Marshall, M.D., is Medical Director of the Sports Medicine Program at Children's

Healthcare of Atlanta. Dr. Marshall is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department

of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine and operates a private practice,

Children's Orthopaedics of Atlanta. He is a member of several professional societies and has

published and presented on a wide variety of sports medicine-related topics. Dr. Marshall

serves as team physician to many gymnastics, soccer and swim teams, as well as

numerous local high schools. Marshall lives in Dunwoody with his wife, Kelley, and they have

two children, ages six and nine. Both children are involved in local sports and Marshall

enjoys coaching his son's youth basketball, football, and little league baseball teams. When

not coaching, Dr. Marshall enjoys playing golf and table tennis.
