Youth Football - Properly Fitting a Helmet
Editor's Notes: The most important piece of equipment for a football player besides his cup is his helmet. Back in the Clubhouse is friend of the show, Craig Brooks with Jonquil Sporting Goods, to demonstrate how to properly fit a helmet for your young Heisman Trophy hopeful. Pay close attention when Craig says the helmet should fit tight! The last thing you want to happen is for the helmet to contribute to a concussion instead of prevent a concussion. Title: Right fit
Great show. My son wants to wear his helmet loose like the college and pro players. You see their helmets poping off their heads on almost every play. Now, I have your show to make my point about making sure you have a tight fit!
